ARTHUR H. SHEER
Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer

Arthur H. Sheer is the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Investment Officer of The Roosevelt Investment Group, Inc. Mr. Sheer was previously the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sheer Asset Management, Inc., which he began in 1990 and later expanded in 2002 with the merger of The Roosevelt Investment Group, Inc.  He began his career in 1970 as a Securities Analyst at First National Bank of Chicago, and has held various positions in equity research and investment management at Keystone Custodian Funds and Fidelity Management. He also served as the appointed Chief Investment Officer at J. Rothschild and Rothschild affiliated companies. Mr. Sheer earned his BS in Economics from the University of Rhode Island with Phi Kappa Psi honors, and an MBA from Babson College.

Adam Sheer is the President of The Roosevelt Investment Group, Inc.  Mr. Sheer was an executive member of the predecessor firm, Sheer Asset Management, Inc., where he was responsible for business development, strategic planning and all client service divisions. He has over 15 years of management experience and previously held a leadership position at the Center for Jewish-Arab Economic Development and was the President of the Suppliers to the New York State Association of Cemeteries. Currently, Mr. Sheer is on two Boards, SUNY State College of Optometry and Heller School of Public Policy at Brandeis University. Formerly, he was on the Board of BodyPositive, an AIDS services organization and the Parent-Child Home Program. Mr. Sheer is also a member of Vistage, a peer to peer CEO organization. He earned a BS in Economics from Brandeis University and was recently named one of 13 Rising Stars of the Mutual Fund Industry by Institutional Investor News in April 2010.

DAVID SHEER
Chief Financial Officer

David Sheer is the Chief Financial Officer of The Roosevelt Investment Group, Inc. responsible for the financial management and administrative oversight of the firm. Mr. Sheer was previously an executive member of the predecessor firm, Sheer Asset Management, Inc., where he managed all aspects of operations. He was instrumental in the establishment and development of the Roosevelt Investments operations center in Providence, RI, which was formed in 2005. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Sheer held various roles in client relations for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. He earned a BS in Psychology from Emory University and an MBA from Johnson & Wales University.

James Rogers joined Roosevelt Investments in 2005 as a Managing Director and the National Sales Manager responsible for client service and product distribution in institutional and intermediary channels. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Rogers served as a Regional Director of Sales for the northeast-metro region with ING Investment Management. He has over 20 years of institutional sales experience and has held various sales management and financial advisory roles at NM Capital Management, a subsidiary of John Hancock Funds, and Merrill Lynch. Mr. Rogers earned a BA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation in 2003.  He is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) and currently holds a Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.

Steven Weiss joined Roosevelt Investments in 2007 as the General Counsel, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Compliance Officer responsible for all legal and compliance aspects for the firm. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Weiss was an attorney with Thelen, Reid, Brown, Raysman and Steiner LLP.  He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in Manhattan. Mr. Weiss earned a BA in Political Science from Tufts University and a JD, cum laude, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

David Chalfin joined Roosevelt Investments in 2010 as Managing Director and Head of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry in sourcing, structuring, and executing transactions with a variety of investment management firms, and has led a number of strategic acquisitions on behalf of New York Life. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Chalfin held various management positions at Asset Management Finance Corporation and Cantilever Group, financial investors in investment managers. Mr. Chalfin began his career as a corporate attorney at Debevoise & Plimpton. He earned an AB and MA in Philosophy from Brown University and a JD from Stanford Law School.

ROBERT L. MEYER, CFA*

Managing Director and Portfolio Manager

Robert L. Meyer's association with Roosevelt Investments began in 2005 when the clients of his predecessor company, Ehrlich Meyer Associates, were brought under Roosevelt management. In 2007, he became a Managing Director and member of the Investment Committee at Roosevelt. His prior experience includes Director of Research at two Wall Street brokerages, Fahnestock & Co. and H.C.Wainwright & Co., following his position as an oil and gas analyst and early member of the Institutional Investor Magazine's All Star Team while a partner at Wainwright. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School and was awarded a CFA charter in 1970.

JOHN ROSCOE, CFA*

Portfolio Manager

John Roscoe joined Roosevelt Investments in 2008 as a Portfolio Manager of equity investments. He is currently a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to Roosevelt, Mr. Roscoe was employed by Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he held a number of different roles in portfolio management and analysis, most recently as Co-Manager of the Dividend Growth Securities Fund. Before joining Morgan Stanley, he served as an analyst on the global large cap equity team at Rockefeller & Co. and as a manager in the Treasury Division of Pfizer. Mr. Roscoe earned a BS in biology and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Cornell University, and was awarded a CFA charter in 1995.

Jason Sheer joined Roosevelt Investments in 2005 as an equity Securities Analyst and in 2009 was promoted to Portfolio Manager. Mr. Sheer is a member of the Investment Committee. He earned a BA in Philosophy from Tulane University and an MBA in Finance and Investments from George Washington University. Mr. Sheer received his CFA charter in 2009. NAINESH SHAH, CFA*

Senior Securities Analyst and Portfolio Specialist

Nainesh Shah joined Roosevelt Investments in 2002 as a Senior Securities Analyst, having previously served as a member of the investment management team at Sheer Asset Management. Mr. Shah has 16 years of investment experience and is responsible for equity coverage of a broad spectrum of industries with a particular focus on the financial, communication and technology industries. He is also actively involved in the quantitative analysis employed in the firm's risk modeling process.  A native of Bombay, he earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Baroda, India, and an MBA in Finance from the Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Mr. Shah received his CFA charter in 1997 and is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.

JASON BENOWITZ, CFA*

Jason Benowitz joined Roosevelt Investments in 2009 as a Securities Analyst and in 2011 was promoted to Portfolio Manager. Prior to Roosevelt, Mr. Benowitz was a Principal at Druker Capital, a long/short hedge fund manager, and a Vice President in the U.S. Equity Research Group at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. He was also an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch.  Mr. Benowitz earned a BA in Computer Science from Harvard College and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar. Mr. Benowitz received his CFA charter in 2010.

GONGWEN PENG, PhD

Director of Quantitative Research

Dr. Gongwen Peng joined Roosevelt Investments in 2010 as Director of Quantitative Research. Dr. Peng was previously with Global Securities Advisors, LLC, a hedge fund with a focus on fixed income arbitrage, as a Senior Quantitative Analyst. Dr. Peng was also formerly a Vice President in the Derivative Quantitative Development Group at Salomon Smith Barney, Citigroup, as well as a Senior Analyst at Unisys Corporation in charge of quantitative research in fixed income and equity derivatives. Dr. Peng holds a PhD in Statistical Physics, an MS in Computational Physics and a BS in Theoretical Physics, from Wuhan University, China. He has been a recipient of the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship of Germany, which he served at the University of Freiburg, and has conducted extensive research in computational statistics at the University of Pittsburgh.

LEILA B. HECKMAN, PH.D.
Senior Portfolio Manager

Dr. Leila Heckman is Head of the International Equity Team of Roosevelt Investments. She joined the firm in January 2012 from Mesirow Financial, where for three years she was Head of the International Equity Team, managing global and international strategies. Dr. Heckman is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Heckman Global Advisors, Inc., a global equity investment research firm which she founded in 1994 and continues to head today. Prior to her tenure at Mesirow Financial, Dr. Heckman played a similar role leading the International Equity Team at Bear Stearns Asset Management for four years. Dr. Heckman also spent 10 years at Salomon Smith Barney as a Managing Director responsible for global asset allocation and her team was ranked number one or number two for asset allocation by Institutional Investor's annual global poll from 1999-2002. During her career, Dr. Heckman has also served as a Vice President of International Equity at Alliance Bernstein; held product development and other managerial positions at Sanford Bernstein; and was Director of Credit Policy for the bankcard division of Citibank. Dr. Heckman holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Brown University, a Master's in Operations Research from Cornell University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Operations Research from Polytechnic Institute of New York University. She is a member of Polytechnic Institute's Board of Trustees and is a member of the Investment Committee for the Endowment Fund. Dr. Heckman is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She also sits on the Investment Committee of the Fieldston Schools and the International Rescue Committee (IRC).

JOHN J. MULLIN, PH.D.
Senior Portfolio Manager

Dr. John Mullin is a Senior Portfolio Manager of the International Equity Team of Roosevelt Investments. He joined the firm in January 2012 from Mesirow Financial where for three years he was a Portfolio Manager on the International Equity Team. Prior to his tenure at Mesirow Financial, Dr. Mullin worked at Bear Stearns Asset Management, where he was responsible for research and development and product design for the International Equity Team. Before Bear Stearns Asset Management, he was a Managing Member with Prism Global Advisors LLC serving as Lead Portfolio Manager in charge of asset allocation, long/short equity strategies and risk management. During his career, Dr. Mullin also served as Chief Equity Strategist for ABN AMRO's Americas Division; Vice President and Chief Latin America Equity Strategist for Salomon Brothers; International Equity Allocation Product Developer for Smith Barney; and Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Having written and spoken widely on international finance, his research has been recognized by polls conducted by Institutional Investor, Reuters and Latin Finance. Dr. Mullin earned his Bachelor's degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles.

VIJAY K. CHOPRA, PH.D., CFA

Dr. Vijay Chopra, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager on the International Equity Team of Roosevelt Investments. He is responsible for the research, development and design of optimal security baskets. He joined the firm in January 2012 from Mesirow Financial. Prior to his tenure at Mesirow Financial, Dr. Chopra worked at Bear Stearns Asset Management where he was an International Equity Portfolio Manager. Before Bear Stearns Asset Management, he served as a Managing Partner for VKC Investments and a Portfolio Manager for Jacobs Levy Equity Management, Deutsche Asset Management and State Street Global Advisors. His research has been published in leading financial journals. Dr. Chopra received the Graham and Dodd Award for research published in the Financial Analysts Journal. Dr. Chopra earned his Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (India) and his MBA and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Vanderbilt University. He received his CFA charter and is a member of the Chicago Quantitative Alliance and New York Society of Security Analysts.

Howard Potter joined Roosevelt in 2011 as a Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. Prior to Roosevelt, Mr. Potter was an Executive Vice President and Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Capstone Asset Management Company. Before joining Capstone, Mr. Potter founded New Castle Advisers, Inc. managing two sub-advised fixed income mutual funds. New Castle merged with Capstone in 1995. Mr. Potter earned his BA from the University of Wisconsin and an MA from Northwestern University.

Timothy Ramsey, CFA is a Portfolio Specialist of the International Equity team of Roosevelt Investments, responsible for client support, new business development and sponsored platform relationship management. He joined the firm in January 2012 from Mesirow Financial where he was a Senior Vice President and Product Manager for the International Equity team. Prior to his tenure at Mesirow, he worked at Bear Stearns Asset Management, where he was a Vice President and Research Analyst for the International Equity team. Before this role, Timothy worked in various positions in the Equity Research department at Bear Stearns & Co., as an Associate Analyst covering global beverages, and as a member of the emerging markets portfolio strategy team where he was primarily responsible for Latin America and Emerging Europe coverage. Timothy received his Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and his Master's of International Affairs degree from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. Mr. Cullen earned a BA in Political Science, with a minor in Economics, from the University of South Florida and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

DAVID SHEER

Chief Financial Officer

David Sheer is the Chief Financial Officer of The Roosevelt Investment Group, Inc. responsible for the financial management and administrative oversight of the firm. Mr. Sheer was previously an executive member of the predecessor firm, Sheer Asset Management, Inc., where he managed all aspects of operations. He was instrumental in the establishment and development of the Roosevelt Investments operations center in Providence, RI, which was formed in 2005. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Sheer held various roles in client relations for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. He earned a BS in Psychology from Emory University and an MBA from Johnson & Wales University.

KAREN DeARRUDA

Director of Operations

Karen DeArruda joined Roosevelt Investments in 2007 as the Operations Manager and in 2011 was promoted to Director of Operations. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Ms. DeArruda was the Back Office Manager for Taylor Investment Associates. She was also formerly the Financial Systems Manager for Freedom Capital, where she utilized and managed the Advent Software suite of products and oversaw portfolio administration, new accounts and trade settlement.

ROBERT MOON

Director of Trading

Robert Moon joined Roosevelt Investments in 2007 as Director of Trading. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Moon was the Head Trader at Freedom Capital Management and a trader at Tucker Anthony. He has an extensive background in trading domestic equities, foreign ordinary equities, domestic fixed income and non-dollar denominated fixed income instruments. Mr. Moon earned an undergraduate degree in English from Syracuse University.

JEREMY BOURGEOIS

Head Trader

Jeremy Bourgeois joined Roosevelt Investments in 2006 as Head Trader.  Prior to Roosevelt, Mr. Bourgeois was a trader at John Hancock Advisors with a trading background in domestic equities, foreign ordinary equities, domestic fixed income and non-dollar denominated fixed income instruments. He earned an undergraduate degree in Finance from Bentley College.
