Arthur H. Sheer

Co-Chairman, Chief Investment Officer

Arthur H. Sheer is the Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Investment Officer of The Roosevelt Investment Group, Inc. Mr. Sheer was previously the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sheer Asset Management, Inc., which he began in 1990 and later expanded in 2002 with the merger with The Roosevelt Investment Group, Inc. He began his career in 1970 as a Securities Analyst at First National Bank of Chicago, and has held various positions in equity research and investment management at Keystone Custodian Funds and Fidelity Management. He also served as the appointed Chief Investment Officer at J. Rothschild and Rothschild affiliated companies. Mr. Sheer earned his BS in Economics from the University of Rhode Island with Phi Kappa Psi honors, and an MBA from Babson College.

Adam J. Sheer

Co-Chairman, Co-Chief Executive Officer

Adam Sheer, former President of The Roosevelt Investment Group, Inc., transitioned into a Co-Chief Executive Officer role in 2013 and is also Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Sheer was an executive member of the predecessor firm, Sheer Asset Management, Inc., where he was responsible for business development, strategic planning and all client service divisions. He has over 15 years of management experience and previously held a leadership position at the Center for Jewish-Arab Economic Development and was the President of the Suppliers to the New York State Association of Cemeteries. Currently, Mr. Sheer is on two Boards, SUNY State College of Optometry and Heller School of Public Policy at Brandeis University. Formerly, he was on the Board of BodyPositive, an AIDS services organization and the Parent-Child Home Program. He earned a BS in Economics from Brandeis University and was named one of 13 Rising Stars of the Mutual Fund Industry by Institutional Investor News in April 2010.

David Sheer

Co-Chief Executive Officer

David Sheer transitioned into a Co-Chief Executive Officer role in 2013. As Chief Financial Officer of The Roosevelt Investment Group, Inc., Mr. Sheer is responsible for the financial management and administrative oversight of the firm. Mr. Sheer was previously an executive member of the predecessor firm, Sheer Asset Management, Inc., where he managed all aspects of operations. He was instrumental in the establishment and development of the Roosevelt Investments operations center in Providence, RI, which was formed in 2005. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Sheer held various roles in client relations for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. He earned a BS in Psychology from Emory University and an MBA from Johnson & Wales University.

James C. Rogers, CIMA®

President

James Rogers joined Roosevelt Investments in 2005 as a Managing Director and the National Sales Manager responsible for client service and product distribution in institutional and intermediary channels. Mr. Rogers was promoted to President in 2013. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Rogers served as a Regional Director of Sales for the northeast-metro region with ING Investment Management. He has over 20 years of institutional sales experience and has held various sales management and financial advisory roles at NM Capital Management, a subsidiary of John Hancock Funds, and Merrill Lynch. Mr. Rogers earned a BA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation in 2003. He is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) and currently holds a Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.

Steven Weiss, Esq.

General Counsel, Chief Operating Officer

Steven Weiss joined Roosevelt Investments in 2007 as the General Counsel, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Compliance Officer responsible for all legal and compliance aspects for the firm. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Weiss was an attorney with Thelen, Reid, Brown, Raysman and Steiner LLP. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in Manhattan. Mr. Weiss earned a BA in Political Science from Tufts University and a JD, cum laude, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

David A. Chalfin

Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer

David Chalfin joined Roosevelt Investments in 2010 as Managing Director and Head of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry in sourcing, structuring, and executing transactions with a variety of investment management firms, and has led a number of strategic acquisitions on behalf of New York Life. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Chalfin held various management positions at Asset Management Finance Corporation and Cantilever Group, financial investors in investment managers. Mr. Chalfin began his career as a corporate attorney at Debevoise & Plimpton. He earned an AB and MA in Philosophy from Brown University and a JD from Stanford Law School.

John Roscoe, CFA*

John Roscoe joined Roosevelt Investments in 2008 as a Portfolio Manager and in 2012 was promoted to Senior Portfolio Manager. Mr. Roscoe has been managing fixed income and equity portfolios for high net worth individuals and institutions while at Roosevelt for the past four years. Prior to Roosevelt, Mr. Roscoe was employed by Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he held a number of different roles in portfolio management and analysis, most recently as Co-Manager of the Dividend Growth Securities Fund. Before joining Morgan Stanley, he served as an analyst on the global large cap equity team at Rockefeller & Co. and as a manager in the Treasury Division of Pfizer. Mr. Roscoe earned a BS in biology and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Cornell University, and was awarded a CFA charter in 1995.

Jason Benowitz, CFA*

Senior Portfolio Manager

Jason Benowitz, CFA, joined Roosevelt Investments in 2009 as a Securities Analyst, was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2011, and to Senior Portfolio Manager in 2013. Prior to Roosevelt, Mr. Benowitz was a principal at Druker Capital, a long/short hedge fund manager, and a Vice President in the U.S. Equity Research Group at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. He was also an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Benowitz earned a BA in Computer Science from Harvard College and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar. Mr. Benowitz received his CFA charter in 2010.

Robert L. Meyer, CFA*

Managing Director and Portfolio Manager

Robert L. Meyer's association with Roosevelt Investments began in 2005 when the clients of his predecessor company, Ehrlich Meyer Associates, were brought under Roosevelt management. In 2007, he became a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of the firm. His prior experience includes Director of Research at two Wall Street brokerages, Fahnestock & Co. and H.C.Wainwright & Co., following his position as an oil and gas analyst and early member of the Institutional Investor Magazine's All Star Team while a partner at Wainwright. Mr. Meyer has also managed fixed income assets for approximately the past twenty years. Many of his clients, typically high net worth individuals and institutions, seek liquid alternatives to stocks that are relatively more conservative in nature but that will achieve the clients' need for income. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School and was awarded a CFA charter in 1970.

Jason Sheer joined Roosevelt Investments in 2005 as an equity Securities Analyst and in 2009 was promoted to Portfolio Manager. He earned a BA in Philosophy from Tulane University and an MBA in Finance and Investments from George Washington University. Mr. Sheer received his CFA charter in 2009. He is also a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.

Nainesh Shah, CFA*

Nainesh Shah joined Roosevelt Investments in 1994 and served on its domestic equity team as a senior securities analyst until he was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2013. Mr. Shah is responsible for equity coverage of a broad spectrum of industries with a particular focus on the financial, communication and technology industries. He is also actively involved in the quantitative analysis employed in the firm's risk management process. A native of Bombay, he earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Baroda, India, and an MBA in Finance from the Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Mr. Shah received his CFA charter in 1997 and is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.

Howard S. Potter

Managing Director, Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager

Howard S. Potter joined Roosevelt Investments in 2011 as a Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. Mr. Potter has over 30 years of fixed income experience, focusing on income generation, asset allocation, capital preservation, and risk management, managing bond portfolios for corporations, pension funds, and individuals, as well as several independent insurance companies. Throughout his career, Howard has specialized in balancing the desire for high yield and attractive returns while assuming minimal risk in the fixed income space. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Howard was an Executive Vice President and Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Capstone Asset Management Company. Mr. Potter earned his BA from the University of Wisconsin and his MA from Northwestern University.

John Roscoe joined Roosevelt Investments in 2008 as a Portfolio Manager, and in 2012 was promoted to Senior Portfolio Manager. Mr. Roscoe has more than 20 years of investment management experience, in both equity and fixed income credit analysis and portfolio construction. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Roscoe held a variety of portfolio management and analysis roles at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, including Co-Manager of the Dividend Growth Securities Fund. Richard C. Kilbride

Managing Director and Fixed Income Specialist

Richard C. Kilbride joined Roosevelt Investments in 2015 to contribute economic and market commentary in support of the investment team. He now serves as Managing Director and Fixed Income Strategist. He has over 35 years of financial markets experience in senior management, portfolio management, and client facing roles. These roles have included Head of Fixed Income at ING-Furman Selz and Managing Director at Merrill Lynch Global Investment Management. In those positions, he had wide ranging responsibilities for investment performance and for directing teams of portfolio managers in separate account and mutual fund mandates. Rick also served as chief investment strategist of Merrill's captive insurance company and was the asset-liability manager at the firm's captive bank. Rick has taught economics, finance, and investments at University of New Hampshire, Skidmore College, and Colorado College. He earned a BA from Colorado College and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and is a member of the CFA Institute.

Justin Ingoglia

Fixed Income Associate

Justin Ingoglia joined Roosevelt Investments in 2008 as an Internal Sales and Marketing Associate, and served as Senior Marketing Associate before transitioning into a Fixed Income Associate role in 2014. Mr. Ingoglia works closely with portfolio management to help manage and oversee Roosevelt's fixed income accounts in line with the firm's market outlook and investment philosophy. In this regard, Mr. Ingoglia has created and continually refines processes to ensure the characteristics of these accounts are kept within optimal parameters and to mitigate performance drift. Mr. Ingoglia also executes account specific requests such as withdrawals and asset allocation changes in accordance with said outlook, and is responsible for implementing the firm's municipal bond strategy, choosing bonds for client portfolios and monitoring these positions. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ingoglia served as an Associate Portfolio Manager at AllianceBernstein. Mr. Ingoglia earned a BA in Psychology from Middlebury College and currently holds a Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Nainesh Shah joined Roosevelt Investments in 1994 and has held a variety of operational, trading, portfolio management and marketing responsibilities. Since 2007, Mr. Shah has served as a Portfolio Specialist acting as a client liaison for Roosevelt's equity and fixed income investment teams. In this role, he interacts with the firm's sales and marketing groups and frequently meets with key partners and sophisticated clients and prospects. A native of Bombay, he earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Baroda, India, and an MBA in Finance from the Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. John Bercini joined Roosevelt Investments in 2008 as Senior Vice President and Regional Director primarily responsible for sales coverage in the Great Lakes region. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Bercini was a sales representative with Eaton Vance, where he was instrumental in the development of the firm's separate account business and helped to introduce the Parametric Portfolio Associates Tax Managed Core Portfolio and Research Affiliates Fundamental Index Portfolio. He was also formerly the Midwest Regional Director for Regent Investor Services, the separate account division of Alliance Bernstein. Michael Miranda joined Roosevelt Investments in 2011. He is the Regional Director primarily responsible for sales coverage in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Miranda was an Internal Wholesaler at Smart Growth Mutual Funds and Director at SPA Exchange Traded Funds. Prior to that, he served on the Prudential Equities Institutional Sales Desk, worked at Pimco Equity Advisors, and prior to that Oppenheimer Capital. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Hermann was a Senior Relationship Manager at Fisher Investments and was also formerly an Associate and Investment Banking Analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Karen DeArruda joined Roosevelt Investments in 2007 as the Operations Manager and in 2011 was promoted to Director of Operations. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Ms. DeArruda was the Back Office Manager for Taylor Investment Associates. She was also formerly the Financial Systems Manager for Freedom Capital, where she utilized and managed the Advent Software suite of products and oversaw portfolio administration, new accounts and trade settlement. In 2013, Ms. DeArruda earned the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) designation.

Jeremy Bourgeois

Head Trader

Jeremy Bourgeois joined Roosevelt Investments in 2006 and has more than 15 years of industry experience, including an extensive trading background in domestic equities, foreign ordinary equities, domestic fixed income, and non-dollar denominated fixed income instruments. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Bourgeois served as a trader at John Hancock Advisors. He earned a BA in Finance from Bentley College.

Kevin Lafontaine

Kevin Lafontaine joined Roosevelt Investments in 2007 and has more than 12 years of industry experience, and is responsible for all aspects of the trade settlement process. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Mr. Lafontaine served as the Corporate Actions Manager at Investors Bank and Trust. He earned a BA in Finance from Salve Regina University.
